Furever Friends #290

This week Mike was stuck in meetings but we still have cute and fluffy for you.

Meet Mason, a 3 year old black and white lab mix that weighs 60 pounds. This goober is housebroken and good with other dogs and just happy go lucky all the time. Mason has been at the shelter waiting to find a family he can call his own for nearly 2 months now.

And Boo Boo, a 3 year old short hair with brown tiger stripes. She loves people, is used to living with other cats and is quiet the chatter box to keep you company. Boo boo has been at the shelter for 6 weeks already while waiting to new her new forever home.

We have adopted 549 of the 552 pets talked about on the show!

The shelters annual Howliday special continues until December 20th! The shelter is still packed with around 140 pets looking for homes and right now if you bring in a new CHILDRENS toy or gift card valued around $20 to be donated to local foster kids then the shelter will take half off your adult dog adoption making them just $45. The dogs still receive all their normal vetting including their spay or neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. This special is a great way to help the shelter pets find their homes by the holidays and also help give the kids at Benchmark Family Services a better Christmas. If you’re not looking to adopt a new furry family member right now but will still like to donate you are welcome to do so.

If you have any questions about the special or anything else feel free to give the shelter a call at 270-769-3428 or check out their Facebook page Hardin County Animal Shelter – Elizabethtown KY. The shelter is open for visitors Monday through Saturday from 12-4pm.

Donate directly to support the shelter at: https://hcky.org/animal-control-department/animal-control-donations

You can see all the shelter’s adoptable pets on PetFinder.com or by stopping by in person at 220 Peterson Drive in E-town.
