"Ambo Dance Theatre is thrilled to close their 2025-2026 season with Well Behaved Womxn..., a series of dance works celebrating the underrepresented stories of womxn who have changed the world and not received their due credit! Based on the saying "Well behaved womxn seldom make history," this production serves to empower the current and rising generations by connecting them with the stories and figures that paved the way for their ascension.
Well Behaved Womxn... runs June 5-7, 2026 in the StageOne Family Theatre. There will be a talkback discussion following each evening performance, led by Artistic Director Amberly M. Simpson. Tickets are available for $30 with Pay-What-You-Can options available to make dance affordable and accessible to the community."

WHAT: CASA of the Heartland will host their first annual Light the Night Superhero 5K in Meade County, a family-friendly community event, featuring a pre-race dance party and food truck rally. The theme of the event symbolizes the impact that CASA volunteers make on the children that they serve, as they provide hope for children living through dark times.
WHO: 5K runners, joggers, and walkers, CASA staff and volunteers, local families and supporters of CASA. All are invited to attend and participate.

Working together, CASA hopes to reach the goal of providing every CASA child in Hardin, Breckinridge, Grayson, LaRue, Meade, and Hart counties with a CASA volunteer.

Event – Protestant Men of the Chapel (PMOC) is a non-denominational group of men from the Ft. Knox Contemporary, Samoan, and Traditional Chapel services ministering to the needs of all men (age 13 and over). Our goals are to draw closer to God, serve Him, and glorify Him by studying His word, enjoying Christian fellowship, and accomplishing work projects as an outreach to the local community.
Dates and Times – PMOC meets the first Saturday morning of each month, unless it is a holiday weekend, then it meets the second Saturday. Breakfast begins at 8:30 and study is from 9:30 to 10:30.
