The Kentucky State Police recognized troopers, detectives, and officers who went above and beyond the call of service during the annual KSP Sworn Awards ceremony.
The KSP says during 2025 the law enforcement agency responded to more than 532,000 calls across the commonwealth, conducted thousands of wellness checks, and assisted other agencies throughout the state. The awards ceremony serves as an opportunity to highlight the dedicated work of KSP personnel.
For KSP Post Four in Elizabethtown, Detective Travis Dalton was named Detective of the Year, and Trooper Joseph Pineiroa was named Trooper of the Year. Special recognitions were presented to Lieutenant Brandon Brooks, Detective Kevin Dreisbach, and Retired Major Matt Johnson.
For KSP Post Three in Bowling Green, Detective Bo Hubbard was named Detective of the Year, and Trooper Tyler Walters was named Trooper of the Year. Detective Trevor Harris was named the 2025 DESI West Detective of the Year. Special recognitions were presented to Troopers Devon Banaszak, Grant Robertson, and Walker Hogan, and Lieutenant Jason Akinson.
