Multi-Vehicle Fatality in Bullitt County

A fatal crash on I-65 in Bullitt County currently has traffic at a standstill. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 5 reported the crash at mile marker 116 earlier this morning. According to Shepherdsville Major Pawley, there is one confirmed fatality. The interstate is shut down in both directions, and Preston Highway is also backed up. The Shepherdsville accident reconstruction team is currently assessing the scene, and the roadway is expected to be closed for several hours.
