Here it is, the final weekend before Christmas, and movies await you, starting with “Monster Hunter”.

On DVD and Blu-ray this week is “Infidel” starring Jim Caviezel, and “Tenet” starring Robert Pattinson.

And don’t forget, a couple of Christmas favorites are showing at the Crowne Pointe Theater now! “Elf” starring Will Ferrell, and “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”!

And starting next Friday Christmas day at theaters nationwide is “Wonder Woman 1984”, and “News of the World” starring Tom Hanks.

Grab some popcorn, a soda, and a comfy seat!

Virginia O’Hanlon, an 8 year old girl, wrote a letter to the editor of the New York Sun Newspaper. A Quick response was published as an unsigned editorial, on September 21, 1897. Since then, this editorial has become history’s most reprinted editorial, appearing in part or whole in dozens of languages, in books, movies and other editorials. Jim Weise, is a retired lieutenant colonel from the US army. Weise retired 8 years ago from his position as a civilian attorney assigned to the Recruiting Command. Weise served 43 years starting in 1969.
