Furever Friends #278

This week we will meet Blaze and Cash, two animals looking for new furever homes.

Since 2017 we have featured 528 animals and adopted out all 528!

The shelter will be holding the largest rabies clinic of the year on Saturday, October 7th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Hardin County Fairgrounds main pavilion located at 5614 South Dixie Highway in Glendale. Thanks to a generous donation from PetCo Love, Distemper Parvo and Feline Distemper vaccines will be free of charge! Check the shelter’s Facebook page for details and prices. Puppies or kittens under 12 weeks old are unable to receive a rabies vaccination, cash or check only, please have all dogs on a leash and cats in carriers.

This week we will meet Hugo and Jaskier, two animals looking for new furever homes.

Since 2017 we have featured 526 animals and adopted out all 525!

For the month of “Dogust” Pet Supplies Plus on Town Drive in Elizabethtown is participating in a donation drive to benefit the Hardin County Animal Shelter. Customers can make a monetary donation at the registers by either rounding up or setting a specific donation amount. At the end of the month the top three Pet Supplies Plus stores that collected the most donations will be giving their shelter a whole pallet of Science Diet dog or cat food! Please help this very deserving shelter win the contest by making a monetary donation to them on your next store visit!

This is the last week for the ‘Dog Days of Summer Adoption Special’  All dogs 5 months and older are FREE! They still receive their spay/neuter, microchip and first round of shots. The shelter is bursting at the seams so this special starts now and runs until they say stop.

The shelter is holding a ‘Dog Days of Summer Adoption Special’ All dogs 5 months and older are FREE! They still receive their spay/neuter, microchip and first round of shots. The shelter is bursting at the seams so this special starts now and runs until they say stop.

The Dirty Dog Bash presented by Hardin County Honda is THIS SATURDAY, August 5 starting at 7pm
at Highland Sod Farm (on Hutcherson Lane in E’town). Tickets available at www.fohcas.org for $75 each, catered and cash bar by Back Home, live entertainment by Kevin Jaggers, live and silent auction and they’ll have an adoptable dog (and hopefully kitten).
