The state’s first Narcan vending machine has come to the area. Chief of Police of the Vine Grove Police Department Kenneth Mattingly stated, “The machine is located here at the Vine Grove Police Department. Basically, the machine holds about 90 two dose boxes of Narcan. So, anyone who needs Narcan or preparing for someone who might be in crisis or has an addiction issue, they can come and get a dose and keep it in their house, keep it in their bathroom and that way if they need it, it will be available to them.
