The Central Kentucky Community Foundation invites area nonprofits to attend their fifth annual Nonprofit Roundtable, to be held at the CKCF Home of Philanthropy Community Hall on Tuesday, August 18.
“It is a chance for area nonprofits to get together, and our catchphrase is ‘to convene and connect and communicate,’” said CKCF Communications Coordinator Erin Hahn. “It’s kind of like coming to a round table, coming and sitting at the table.”
The event is an opportunity for representatives from area nonprofits to come together and share ideas and talk about issues they have faced. The day will start with a keynote address followed by breakout sessions.
“It’s just a really fun day of people talking about any of the struggles they may be having, and asking ‘what do you do in this situation?’ and just talking amongst the tables, taking some really great nuggets back to their organizations, and they’re able to implement those as soon as they walk back in the door,” Hahn said.
