2 people were arrested in connection to recent break-ins. Police say several homes were burglarized on Hawkins drive in Elizabethtown.
Grace Logsdon and Joseph Walden were charged with burglary 2nd degree and lodged in the Hardin County detention center.

With the start of a new year, health officials are reminding the public of tips to avoid the flu. The Hardin County area has seen 4 confirmed cases of the flu this season. Lincoln trail health spokesperson Lisa thorn also reminds those with the flu to stay home.

Governor Matt Bevin will host a forum in Breckinridge county tomorrow (Tuesday). Officials announced that Bevin and several cabinet secretaries will be at the courthouse to speak with community members about economic developments and other issues impacting Kentucky. The event is one of several Bevin has hosted in recent weeks across the commonwealth. The forum will be held beginning at 2pm central time and is open to the public.

Today is the first day for Nolin RECC’s new leader. Greg lee replaces Mickey Miller who retired this month.
