In his evening press conference last night, Governor Andy Beshear announced 1,018 new cases of covid-19 in the Commonwealth, the second highest total for a single day since the virus first appeared in the state. As a result of recent increases, Dr. Steven Stack continued to urge precautions in an attempt to curb the spread.
Local health officials announced 39 new cases yesterday, including a new death in Hardin county. Hardin announced 17 new cases, Meade 7, and LaRue 3.
Hardin County Schools is urging parents to fill out the second quarter survey for the district. This survey will serve to gauge the interest of those in the Online Learning Academy as to whether or not they will stay there, or if they are interested in returning to in-person instruction.
