RPD: Man arrested after pursuit on Dixie

After a car chase, officers with the Radcliff Police Department made an arrest Monday evening.

According to arrest citations, officers observed the suspect, Marcel Ditto, make a u-turn on northbound 31W, then quickly accelerate, causing the back tires to spin out on the asphalt. A pursuit began, but had to be terminated due to heavy traffic and slippery roadways. Ditto continued north on South Wilson Road, and attempted to turn onto Logan Street, but lost control of his vehicle, causing him to go off the road. Ditto tried to escape, but was unable to due to having no tire traction on the grass. Ditto was apprehended, and a passenger in the vehicle told police that he had been in fear for his life and safety due to riding with Ditto.

Ditto was charged with wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, criminal mischief, and reckless driving. He was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
