CKCF begins annual “Scholarship Central” for students

A new year brings with it renewed opportunities for area students looking to attend college. Central Kentucky Community Foundation’s annual Scholarship Central portal is now open.

Lawrenceburg man arrested after alleged strangulation, assault

A Lawrenceburg man was arrested Monday, nearly a month after he was accused of strangulation. According to arrest citations, police were dispatched to a residence off of Darby Woods Drive in Radcliff on December 6th in reference to a disturbance. When officers arrived, they found the victim with what appeared to have bite marks and injuries. The victim told police that her child’s father, Dylan Cary, had allegedly put her in a choke hold outside the residence, in addition to biting her several times. The victim says she was able to get inside the residence when Cary attacked her again, biting her again as well as striking her. Cary fled the residence when he saw police lights approaching. Cary was arrested and charged with strangulation 1st degree, as well as terroristic threatening and criminal abuse. He is lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.

Man killed in Radcliff ID’d

With a death investigation now ruled a homicide, Radcliff police have released the name of the man found dead on New Years Eve last week.

Police had initially revealed that Dziekan had knocked on several doors before apparently succumbing to his injuries. Police are still investigating, and ask that anyone with information contact Radcliff police.
