Battle of the Badges was a Success.

The Battle of the Badges was a friendly competition between the Fire department, Police Department, and EMS personnel to see who could get the most blood donors.

It wrapped up on Friday with a total of 54 units of blood donated.

Public Relations Officer for Elizabethtown Police Department Chris Dunham says that the Fire Department and Police Department tied with 21 donors while EMS came away with 16 donors.

They are thankful for everyone that came out to donate in this time of need for blood. The blood donated will go on to 150 patients in need of blood.

Amphetamines Found in New Haven’s Man Car

A New Haven resident caught with amphetamine has been arrested. 

Late in the evening on Thursday, Deputy Kirkpatrick noticed a vehicle on Tanner road with one working headlight. The car was pulled over and the traffic stop revealed 23 grams of methamphetamine, along with a scale, and a large amount of money.

The vehicle was being operated by Tracy Lafollette of New Haven. Lafollette was placed under arrest and booked for numerous drug and traffic offenses The investigation is still ongoing.

Miracle Field at Elizabethtown Sports Park to be Named The Cecilian Bank Miracle Field.

The Elizabethtown Sports Park announced that The Cecilian Bank is partnering with them to rename Miracle Field to The Cecilian Bank Miracle Field.

General manager of the Elizabethtown Sports Park Todd Yancey says that they hope they are able to promote and hold more events at the field with this partnership.
