Hardin County Schools has announced the new East Hardin Middle will be ready and open to students starting Monday, October 18, 2021. In order for teachers and other staff to prepare for this transition, EHMS students will have a “learn at home day” on Friday, October 15, 2021.

Baptist Health Hardin now offers two Covid-19 testing sites. Bluewater Diagnostic Laboratory opened a new drive-thru testing site earlier this week. The site is located at the Towne Mall in Elizabethtown, on the former Sears site. Appointments and a doctor’s order is not required for testing.

The other site is located at 108 Financial Drive, and requires a doctor’s order for testing.

The new testing sites are available for those who are asymptomatic or need testing to travel, return to work or school, or for any other reason.
