At theaters now is the latest in the Jumanji series…”Jumanji: the next level”. Up next from director Clint Eastwood, is “Richard Jewell”. And since today is Friday the 13th, it just seems fitting that a new scary movie has arrived…it’s “Black Christmas”. Blu-rays and DVD’s out this week include “It-Chapter 2”, “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood”, and “Linda Ronstadt: The Sound Of My Voice”.
And showing this weekend at The State Theater are two Christmas movie favorites! Tonight at 7 it’s “White Christmas” for $3 per ticket and tomorrow at 7pm “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” for only $1 per ticket. Visit thestate270.org.

Our heavenly Father longs for us to grow up and “become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13). But spiritual maturity is different from natural maturity. Parents raise their children to become independent, to no longer need them. Our divine Father raises us to daily depend on Him more.
