Lake City, South Carolina native Samuel Wilco currently stationed at Fort Knox as an instructor at the Army’s recruiting college is now stationed on the set of NBC’s The Voice. Monday night Wilco’s version of Stevie Wonder’s “Lately” had coaches Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas clambering for his talent. Wilco ended up choosing team Nick because his kids are big fans.

March 1-7, 2020 is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Kentucky. As part of severe weather awareness, a statewide tornado drill is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at approximately 10:07 a.m. EST/9:07 a.m. CST.
During the statewide tornado drill, outdoor warning sirens will sound, weather alert radio will activate and television and radio stations will broadcast the alert.
The drill is in partnership with the National Weather Service as well as the Kentucky Broadcasters Association.

Jesus pulls our lives from the ashes and becomes for us a place of belonging. When we receive Him, He makes His home in our hearts (Ephesians 3:17). God adopts us into His family through Jesus so that we belong to Him (1:5-6). Although we’ll go through painful times, He can use even those to bring good purposes in our lives.
Daily we have opportunity to grow in our understanding of God as we enjoy His love and celebrate what He’s given us. In Him, there’s a fullness to life that we couldn’t have without Him (3:19). And we have the promise that this relationship will last forever. Jesus is our place of belonging, our reason to celebrate life, and our hope now and forever.
