Troubles can boom through our hearts, minds, and homes. The “fireworks” of life—family struggles, relationship problems, work challenges, financial strain, even church division—can feel like explosions, rattling our emotional atmosphere.

Yet we know the One who lifts us over this uproar. Christ Himself “is our peace.”

Mindful Minute: Calling

2020 has been difficult but it has also presented great opportunity. Do not feel guilty for what you did not do, instead be motivated by what we wish we had time to do and make time to do it.

Ephesians 4:1 “I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.”

The calling God has placed on each of our lives is unique to us. What God has called me to do may not be what God is calling you to do. Use your gift while giving glory to God and share the truth.

Listen to what God is telling you. Do not be someone else, answer your calling. Use your gifts, talents and skills and lay then at the foot of the King for his glory.
