When the Cats Away // Furever Friends #189

Mike is away taking care of personal business this week so, we will talk with Maranda. She brought two new animals looking for a good home. There are lots of dogs at the shelter that are also waiting on adoption.

For nearly four years, Furever Freinds has been finding cats and dogs new homes with the support of Pet Supplies Plus on Towne Drive in Elizabethtown.

Accessible To All // Praise & Shine

The Bible describes the road that leads to eternal life as narrow “and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:14). The gate is considered small because God the Son is the only bridge that can reconcile fallen man and God the Father through the power of the Holy Spirit (vv. 13–14; see John 10:7–9; 16:13). However, Scripture also says in Revelation 5:9 that believers from every people, nation, and societal rank can enter heaven and will bow before the King of Kings and worship together around His throne.

Don’t Breath // Showtime

Today is Friday the 13th, and with new movies opening at theaters today, it’s only appropriate with something scary, so we start with “Don’t Breathe 2”.

Up next is “Free Guy”. Also opening nationwide is “Respect”, the life story of legendary R&B singer, Aretha Franklin.

Several choices are also waiting for you on Blu-ray, DVD, and streaming, including “The Misfits”, and “Queen Bees”.

Make it a good weekend, and enjoy!

Heroes Needed // Adam In The Afternoon

American Red Cross Kentucky Region disaster volunteers are trained to respond to all types of disasters and “Heroes Needed” is a great opportunity for new volunteers with no disaster training to become Red Cross “Heroes” in just a few days. To explain more about this training opportunity Adam spoke with Stacy Taylor of the Red Cross.
