During their meeting on August 25, the Hardin County Fiscal Court voted to establish a Veterans Ambulance Wrap Donation Account.
“So any donation will go into this new account, if anybody wants to donate for future ambulances so that we can put that wrap on there,” said Hardin County Judge/Executive Keith Taul. “It’s obviously more expensive than the typical wrap that you see on our ambulances.”
Hardin County Government is accepting donations for the wrap so that the ambulance can “create a meaningful tribute to those who have served our great nation.”
“I would venture to say the majority of our community, you either know a veteran or you live next to one, so it’s a good way to honor them and you would hopefully be able to see that in a wrap around an ambulance, coming to an ambulance near you in the future,” said Fifth District Magistrate Aaron Pennington.
Donations should be brought to or sent to the Hardin County Treasurer, 150 North Provident Way Suite 320, Elizabethtown, KY, 42701. Checks should include “Veterans EMS Wrap” in the memo line or include a note with your donation.
