The next round of lane closures on Interstate 65 starts this evening.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the left two lanes of I-65 North and South will be closed between mile markers 117 and 120 in Bullitt County from 7 p.m. Friday until 2 p.m. Sunday.
Crews will perform concrete slab repairs, and the weekend closures are necessary to allow time for the concrete to cure.
Due to ongoing construction on I-65 around mile marker 110, motorists are advised to plan ahead, expect travel delays, and seek an alternate route. Motorists should obey restrictions and use caution when traveling through active work zones.For more information, visit www.transportation.ky.gov.
