The City of Elizabethtown is excited to announce the event schedule for the 2023 event season
with one new downtown festival for the fall.
April 21st: Grand Re-Opening of Freeman Lake Park’s Bandstand concert by V-Groove;
May 20th: Etown Wine Fest
June 11th: The Princess & Me Tea
July 4th: Founders’ Day Fireworks
July 28-29th: Cruisin’ the Heartland
August 26th: Heartland Homecoming Parade
September 30th: Heartland Harvest Festival
October 19th: Inside the Barrel Bourbon Tasting
November 22nd: Christmas in the Park opens
December 1st: Light Up Downtown and Christmas Parade
*Additional Christmas events will be announced at a later date. Specific information for each
event will be released closer that those event dates

How come the city doesn’t list any of the events held at the Vietnam veterans of memorial wall such as Veterans Day Memorial Day. If the city would list these events there would be more people to attend
I’d also like to see this list include the Historic Walking Tour and the Ghost Walk. Both of those are very Etown-centric events, although not managed by the city.
Why is the barbecue blues and bike festival getting canceled that was great money maker for the community
