A crash in Elizabethtown left one dead this morning.
Around 7 a.m., Elizabethtown Police were called to the 2400 block of Ring Road in response to a motor vehicle collision.
“Our preliminary investigation indicates a Toyota passenger car being driven by 29-year-old Devyn Vittitow of Elizabethtown, attempted to make a left-turn from the parking lot of the Valero gas station to go eastbound on Ring Road. He crossed into the path of a westbound SUV and was struck. Mr. Vittitow was pronounced deceased at the scene. All three adult passengers in his vehicle were injured, and as a result, were transported for medical care. The driver of the SUV, an adult female, was a lone occupant and sustained non life-threatening injuries,” stated Public Information Officer Chris Denham.
The crash remains under investigation.
