Starting today, select groups of veterans at the VA in Louisville will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. The Robley Rex VA Medical Center has announced that they will be vaccinating veterans identified as those who are high risk, over the age of 75, and those residing in congregate living residences. Officials say that veterans that meet those qualifications will be contacted to schedule their first dose of the Moderna vaccine. Currently, those receiving care through the VA are being contacted first. Those who are not but wish to check their eligibility may contact Robley Rex VA Medical Center.
