One of the area’s largest manufacturers is adding jobs. Metalsa USA announced Tuesday that their Elizabethtown location would be home to 300 new, full-time entry level technician positions. In a press release, the company said that the new jobs were a result of a higher demand for the company’s signature product: vehicle frames for light and heavy weight trucks.
Those qualifying employees are able to receive welding certification at no cost, as well as an apprenticeship program for eligible union members. Those interested can find more information on Metalsa’s website.
