Governor Andy Breshear announced this weekend over 1.5 million unique Kentuckians have been vaccinated. The Governor also announced 366 new covid 19 cases in the commonwealth and a positivity rate of 3.08%.

Dee Dee Shaw will be sworn in as Hardin County District Court Judge on Wednesday. She was recently appointed by Governor Andy Beshear. The District 9 Division 1 position became vacant in late January. Shaw recently retired after 24 years as Elizabethtown City Attorney.
Hardin County Schools welcomed students back to their classrooms from Spring Break today. All in-person learning students will resume in-person instruction. Both Group A and Group B students will be returning to their school buildings together. OAL students will also resume instruction.

He also was updated on the construction of a $45 million digital air-ground integration range, plans for Cadet summer training at Ft. Knox, and stand-up of three-star general office command fifth corps and its integration into the community.
Governor Andy Beshear and Labor Cabinet Secretary Larry Roberts announced today that in person unemployment insurance services will open April 15 at more than a dozen regional Kentucky Career Centers (KCCs) including one at 233 Ring Road in Elizabethtown. KCC staff will be available for in person assistance by appointment only. Kentuckians can begin scheduling Monday through Friday appointments at kcc.ky.gov.
