Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness // Showtime Review

Doctor strange was a nice change of pace form recent MCU movies and TV shows, changing up the formula of an over the top final CG confrontation in act three. Theming is much different than any other MCU movie up to this point, taking on an almost horror style. And there is a great conclusion to one of the characters story arch. It was a wonderful sensory experience, with a truly excellent score. I in particularly enjoyed one of the 3rd act battles for its creativity. In recent years it has felt like Marvel had lost there overall direction; however, Doctor Strange nicely sets up where the MCU is going next plus with countless cameos, it opens the door for new franchises we haven’t seen in the MCU yet . Doctor strange is poised to be this generations Iron Man. I give Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 4 Sorcerer Supremes out of 5.
