This week we will meet Annie and Butch, a new set of animals looking for a new home. Mike also has a special gift and will tell us more about the Dirty Dog Bash coming in a couple of weeks. Furever Friends #226

This week we will meet Iris and Cherokee, two new animals looking for a good home.

Don’t forget about the Dirty Dog Bash, the party of the year! Hosted by Jeff and Mary Key at their beautiful farm, you’ll enjoy live music by Van Winkle, great food and amazing silent and live auction items. Also, the shelter has partnered with Best Friends Animal Society during their National Adoption Event this weekend. On Friday July 22nd and Saturday July 23rd ONLY, the shelter is doing Free adoptions on All of their pets.

Furever Friends #225

This week we will meet Trapper, a 6 year old tri-color coonhound that weighs in at just 48 pounds. He is a quite fella that wants to be right by your side all the time and he’s good with other dogs too. Trapper is among some of our longest residents having been at the shelter 85 days now. And Fitz, a 10 week old black short haired kitten. He loves people and will come running right to you but he might love playtime even more. Fitz has been at the shelter waiting on the perfect family for a month now.

Since 2017 Furever Friends has featured 420 pet’s and adopted 416.

Meet Moe, a 12 week old orange tabby with a short bobbed tail. He is very social with both people and other cats. Moe has only been with us a couple of weeks but is hoping to soon find a loving lap to curl up on. And Susie, a petite black and white pit mix that weighs in around 48 pounds at 11 months old. She is really sweet, loves toys and gets along with other dogs but her ideal home would be free of cats. Susie has been waiting to find her perfect match for over 9 weeks. B-I-N-G-O // Furever Friends #223

This week we will meet Bingo, a 1 yr old white and tan male red heeler mix weighing in at 61 lbs. Bingo is a shy guy, very playful and gets along with other dogs. And Charlotte, a 1 yr old gray tiger and white female domestic shorthair cat. She loves attention! We have featured 415 cats and dogs and 410 have been adopted!

The Shelter is also holding an adoption special where all dogs in the large dog adoption kennels are free to adopt when you make a monetary donation. Money donated goes directly to the care of the shelter animals.
