Warm Blessings

Warm Blessings is dedicated to ministering to the whole person. Their purpose is to provide meals to hungry people and offer emergency shelter to people in crises. Hot meals are served weekday evenings from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at 609 E. Dixie Ave in Elizabethtown. Showers and use of the washer and dryer are available by appointment. Meals are delivered to seniors who are shut-in and frail due to age or illness on Mondays and Thursdays. Van pickup available to limited areas. Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland

Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland serves those in need by acquiring and distributing donated food, grocery items, and government commodities. Helping Hand of Hope

Helping Hand of Hope is a ministry to residents of Hardin County that offers help and hope providing compassionate service and support to meet emergency needs in the name of Jesus Christ. Some of the services they provide include rent assistance, utility assistance, clothing, food, prescription assistance, transportation assistance, job placement and beds for children. Clarity Solutions aids those facing unplanned pregnancies. SpringHaven

SpringHaven Inc. offers 24 hour assistance 7 days a week to anyone who is a victim of spouse / prater abuse. There is no charge for services such as 24 hour Crisis Line, a safe place to stay for victims and their dependent children, individual counseling, children’s programs, legal advocacy and support groups. Silverleaf

Silverleaf Sexual Trauma Recovery Services is an organization dedicated to reducing the trauma experienced by victims of sexual abuse and sexual assault. They offer 24 hour crisis intervention, counseling, victim advocacy, forensic interviews, medical examinations and victim support, education and consultation. Hope Academy For Kids

There are many barriers in the lives of at-risk children today, such as peer pressure, learning difficulties, poor academic achievement, dysfunctional or broken homes, as well as poverty. The Community Health Clinic

The Community Health Clinic was established in 2002. They are a volunteer based organization with the mission is to provide care for people who are UNINSURED and within 300% of the Federal Poverty Line. By helping people improve their health, well-being and health literacy they empower them to take control of their lives. They provide Their patients with FREE healthcare so they can continue to work and utilize their limited income on other basic needs (utilities, food…) thus assisting them in obtaining financial stability.

United Way of Central Kentucky

United Way of Central Kentucky works to increase access to healthcare and basic needs and services, improve school readiness and academic achievement and promotes financial stability & independence. Some of the programs they offer include the Way to Work program and free tax preparation. In addition, United Way 211 is a free, confidential referral and information helpline that connects people to essential heath and human services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

CASA of the Heartland
