The Elizabethtown Girls Soccer Team is headed to the State Championship. Yesterday the team beat West Jessamine four to one in the Final Four to advance. Coach Rob Zoller stated, “With soccer it’s all one class, there’s no classes like football or anything like that. So, if we win this game we are essentially the best team in Kentucky.” The game will be held at 4 pm on Saturday in Lexington at Frederick Douglas High School. The Panthers Soccer Team will be facing off with South Oldham High School. Zoller continued, “Panther nation showed up in force. Last night, they were fantastic, the student section , and the community. We are excited, so we hope Panther Nation shows up Saturday in Lexington.” For information on how to get tickets visit khsaa.org or to the EHS Girls Soccer Team Facebook page.
