Govenor Beshear’s Covid-19 briefing yesterday included 110 new cases in Kentucky 4 new deaths and a positivity rate of 2.9%. The Lincoln Trail District Health Department reported 44 new cases including 24 for Hardin, 2 for Larue and 6 for Meade Counties. Also Kentucky is no longer prohibiting or advising against domestic travel.

The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Radcliff resident Dennis Monrow Wadzeck at an Louisville Airport on charges related to child sexual abuse material. The was arrested as a result of an undercover internet crimes against children investigation and was charged with six counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance. These charges are class D felonies punishable by one to five years in prison. He was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.

Today marks another drop in age requirement for Kentuckians looking to receive a Covid-19 vaccine. Governor Beshear made the announcement last week that those 16 and older could sign up for vaccines beginning today. On Saturday, Gov. Beshear reported 587 new Covid-19 cases in the Commonwealth and a positivity rate of 3%.
