Robbery Foiled In Radcliff

An attempted robbery was foiled Friday in Radcliff. On April 2nd at approximately 3 pm the Radcliff Police Department responded to the 200 block of Wilson Road in regards to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned the subsect had approached another individual leaving the Cecilian Bank in an attempted robbery. The suspect also identified themselves as a Radcliff Police Officer. Hamilton was charged with Robbery second degree and impersonating a police officer. The case is currently pending investigation.

ECTC Awarded $300,000 Grant

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College has been awarded a $300,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to support expansion of the Advanced Manufacturing Army Career Skills Program.

The three year Advanced Technological Education Grant will allow ECTC to add a robotics and automation certification pathway and support a Career Skills Program Coordinator who will facilitate recruitment and retention plans. The grant starts May 1st.

Hardin County Fair Set To Return This Year

The smell of funnel cakes, sounds of carnival rides and fun will be back in July with the Hardin County Fair! The 2021 Hardin County Community Fair and Horse show will be July 5th thru the 10th at the Hardin County Fairgrounds … they expect all of your favorite fair events will be going on from the Midday, exhibits, pageants, truck and tractor pulls, horse show and more! Fair board President Marty Fulkerson said they had some special help this year from sponsors.

First Annual Concert On Main Slated For June

The City of Elizabethtown and E-town Tourism and Convention Bureau are excited to announce the on sale date for tickets to the first annual Concert on Main slated for June 26th.
