Disney’s Moana 2 brought in nearly $140 million it’s opening weekend, with over $800 million worldwide to date.
Despite only being in theaters for five weeks, Universal Pictures’ Wicked is number three on our list, bringing in $112 Million on its opening weekend and nearly $600 Million worldwide to date.
Disney’s Deadpool & Wolverine brought in a staggering $211 Million for its opening weekend, and to date over $1.3 Billion dollars worldwide, making it the biggest earner for any rated R movie in history.
Disney’s Inside Out 2 was the biggest movie of 2024, bringing in over $154 Million on its opening weekend and nearly $1.7 Billion dollars worldwide to date beating box-office records for an animated film.
With a budget of $200 Million, Joker Folie a Deux bombed so hard that its now the biggest comic book flop of all time bringing in only $37 Million for its opening weekend.
Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 was supposed to be the first of a four-part series, but with an opening weekend of $8.6 Million, future movies have been canceled.
Francis Ford Coppola spent about $120 Million of his own money on Megalopolis, which only brought in $4 Million for its opening weekend.
Borderlands once again proved the difficulties of adapting a video game to the big screen, only bringing in $8.6 Million on its opening weekend.
With its poor directing and week vision, Madame Web is the worst Spider-Man universe movie of all time, only making $15 Million on its opening weekend.
