As part of the latest rescue package, an Elizabethtown health service will receive over 2 million dollars to help with mental and substance use disorders amid the pandemic. Senator Mitch McConnell announced Monday that Communicare would receive $2.8 million for its efforts in treating mental and behavioral health. In the release, officials with Communicare say they intended to use the funds to expand their services, saying they intend to establish a community behavioral health center.
