Educators across the area are indicating whether or not they plan to take a covid-19 vaccine.
Over 3,100 staff members in area school district indicated in surveys recently that they would take a COVID-19 vaccine when offered in the school system. That’s 1,659 employees from Hardin county, 479 from Meade county, 386 from Grayson, 234 from Elizabethtown, and 198 from LaRue county. Breckinridge county, which has 520 active employees, had 156 staff members respond yes to vaccination. Phase 1b, which includes certain school personnel, is set to begin near the end of the month.
