Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland has now reopened to volunteers. However, restrictions have been put in place when it comes to who can volunteer and how.
Volunteers must be 18 years and older, and must call ahead to the center beforehand instead of showing up. Development Director Monica Ruheling says volunteers will be required to wear a facemask and will undergo temperature checks at the door before entering the building.
