Phase two of West Point bridge project underway tomorrow

Starting tomorrow, February 25^th, the next phase of work will begin on the US 31W bridge project at West Point. According to a release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, all traffic will be shifted to the newly constructed southbound side in preparation for demolition of the northbound side. Motorists are reminded of the lower posted speed limit and reduced lane width along with using additional caution through the area. Completion of the project is currently expected by the end of May.
