Houdini the goat is one step closer to finding a permanent home. Members of the 7 person committee visited a potential site and hope to have a placement for the goat by the end of this week. As previously reported, Houdini was removed from the side of i65 in October after being injured. Donations for Houdini’s care can be made on the friends of the Hardin County animal shelter’s Facebook page.
A local organization is opening its doors to non-profits looking for funding. United way of central Kentucky will hold their annual grant training later this month.

A student in Elizabethtown received national attention.
The artwork will be on display through January 6th.
An Elizabethtown man charged with murder was arraigned in court yesterday. As previously reported, 24-year-old Jahi Hall was taken into custody last month after a child in his care was pronounced dead.
Hall is set to appear in court again next week.
