ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. – Saint James Catholic School (SJS) in Elizabethtown will host Discover SJS, a new registration-based event offering prospective students and their families the chance to tour the school during a regular school day. Scheduled for Nov. 20 and 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event allows families to reserve 30-minute time slots for a personalized visit.

While touring the campus, families will have the opportunity to meet with parents, faculty and SJS student ambassadors to ask questions and learn more about the school. Designed as an alternative to a traditional open house, Discover SJS provides a more personal and authentic look at daily life at the school, highlighting its Christ-centered approach to education.

"Discover SJS gives families a true sense of who we are, not just through a presentation, but by experiencing the rhythm of a school day," said SJS principal John Stith. "It's an opportunity for parents and students to see firsthand the academics, faith and community that makes SJS a special place to learn and grow."

Currently serving students from pre-k through 8th grade, Saint James is now in its 153rd consecutive year of providing a Catholic education in the heartland of Kentucky. The school works in partnership with the Catholic Education Foundation and the Archdiocese of Louisville to provide tuition assistance for families who desire a Catholic education for their child and cannot afford the full cost of providing the education at the elementary school level.
