  • Downtown Walking Tour

    The Charles W. Logsdon Historic Downtown Elizabethtown Walking Tour (Walking Tour) was first performed in the summer of 1988 and will continue for its 37th season on Thursday, June 5, 2025, running every Thursday through September 4, 2025.
    On the Walking Tour, you will meet the colorful characters whose enthusiasm, talent and morals helped shape the Elizabethtown you see today.
    THE CHARLES W. LOGSDON HISTORIC DOWNTOWN ELIZABETHTOWN WALKING TOUR WILL BE HELD EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT AT 7:00PM.
    MEET AT 40 PUBLIC SQUARE, UNDER THE CANNONBALL.
    PLENTY OF FREE PARKING AVAILABLE NEARBY
    THE WALKING TOUR IS FREE!!
    Please note: The Walking Tour is mostly outdoor and can travel over uneven terrain. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. In the event of weather cancellation, please see the notice on the Elizabethtown City Events Facebook page.

    Kentucky Bluegrass Sergeant Major Association is hosting a golf scramble on Friday, September 5th – starting at 0930 – at Lindsey Golf Course, Fort Knox, KY.  

    1.    Below are the prizes for the Scramble (see attached)
    a.    $10,000 hole in one (hole 10)
    b.    Home Depot fire pit and patio set hole in one (hole 8)
    c.    X box or PS5 hole in one (hole 6 & 12)
    d.    Vokey wedge set (hole 17)
    e.    $50 Gift card and trophy for longest drive male/female (hole 2)
     
    2.    Place - Prizes
    a.    1st place -$ and trophy for each member of the winning team

    Event – Protestant Men of the Chapel (PMOC) is a non-denominational group of men from the Ft. Knox Contemporary, Samoan, and Traditional Chapel services ministering to the needs of all men (age 13 and over). Our goals are to draw closer to God, serve Him, and glorify Him by studying His word, enjoying Christian fellowship, and accomplishing work projects as an outreach to the local community.

    Dates and Times – PMOC meets the first Saturday morning of each month, unless it is a holiday weekend, then it meets the second Saturday. Breakfast begins at 8:30 and study is from 9:30 to 10:30.
