I secretly recorded Scott Goettel today before I came on-air. He was doing a lovely job drumming whatever he had around the studio. Shortly after playing a clip on air we received a call from a listener requesting the Scott single “Hooba Hooba Hooba”

John Wright on Senior Meal Program

During the COVID 19 outbreak Hardin County Schools has been offering free lunches to students. The schools have also been providing lunches to senior citizens in our community. The schools can’t legally provide these lunches for free. They have also run out of money and volunteers to deliver these lunches. John Wright from Hardin County Schools explains the current situation and provides information on how you can help out.

Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, you’ll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers! The Downtown Shavedown is March 21st from 4 to 6:30 pm at The Historic State Theater Complex in downtown Elizabethtown.

Justice for Alzheimer’s

Sam Wilco

Lake City, South Carolina native Samuel Wilco currently stationed at Fort Knox as an instructor at the Army’s recruiting college is now stationed on the set of NBC’s The Voice. Monday night Wilco’s version of Stevie Wonder’s “Lately” had coaches Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas clambering for his talent. Wilco ended up choosing team Nick because his kids are big fans.
