The FBI is offering a $50,000 for information about the death of an Bardstown Police Officer in May of 2013. Officer Jason Ellis was murdered while attempting to remove debris from the roadway after finishing his shift for the Bardstown Police Department. Officials have started to intensify their efforts in this case as part of Police Week 2019. Anyone with information is asked to call the Louisville FBI Field Office at 502-240-5944.

The Primary Elections are tomorrow. Hardin County’s poll numbers in previous primaries have been down. The Hardin County Clerk’s Office is seeking to change that by offering sides to and from the polls. Absentee voting will take place in the Clerk’s Office. For more information you can call the Clerk’s Office as well. Also because of Elections tomorrow, the office of the Attorney General’s Hotline is available from 6am until 7pm. Kentuckians who witness possible Election law violations are encouraged to call the Hotline at 800-328-VOTE.

West Hardin Middle School has found it’s new principal. Michael Elmore, the current assistant principal at James T. Alton Middle School, has been asked to take the position. He says he hope to continue to grow the culture of the school during his time. Elmore graduated from West Hardin High School in 1990 and Western Kentucky University in 1994, also getting his Masters.

Rehabilitation of the bridge along Greensburg Road over the south fork branch of Nolin River in Larue County is scheduled to begin this Wednesday. This should take up to 60 days. This project is part of the Bridging Kentucky Program, which is aimed at increasing at increasing safety and capacity of bridge structures all around the state.
