The suspect in Crystal Rogers’ 2015 disappearance in Bradstown was found not guilty on other charges yesterday. Media sources report that a jury found Brooks Houck not guilty on charges of stealing roofing shingles from a Lowe’s store in Nelson County. The case was tried in Warren County due to his attorney believing he could not have a fair trial in Nelson County. Houck was accused of the theft of more than 200 bundles of shingles. The verdict was announced Thursday afternoon.
