January 9, 2018 Impossible Question

A collision in Meade County Monday turned fatal. Kentucky state police say the wreck happened around 5:30pm. 58-year-old judy smith was killed when a vehicle crossed the centerline and struck her car head-on. The driver of the other vehicle received non-life-threatening injuries. The crash is under investigation.

Hardin county schools have announced paperless registration for the 2019-2020 school year. More details can be found on the district’s website.

An alzheimer’s bill is now law. Congressman Brett Guthrie’s building our largest dementia infrastructure for Alzheimer’s act was signed by president trump this week. The law will create ways to support prevention, treatment and care for patients with the disease.

Kentucky lawmakers returned to frankfort yesterday. The 2019 general session began at the capitol tuesday afternoon. Legislators are expected to address pensions, school safety, and tax reform during the 30 day session of the general assembly. No other details have been released at this time.

A popular fast food restaurant in elizabethtown is temporarily closing its doors. The corporate office of chick-fil-a announced that this location will undergo a remodel beginning february 9th. The plan is to reopen the 15-year-old building in 7 weeks with a grand re-opening by the end of march.

Houdini the i65 goat is readjusting to his new home at Broadbent Wildlife Sanctuary. The organization said houdini was released into a five-acre pen yesterday. We spoke with county officials about the facility last week. Houdini was removed from i65 after being injured in october.
